Lily is a staff attorney at Rights Behind Bars. She first joined RBB as a Skadden fellow. Through her Skadden project, she advocated for the release of people with psychiatric disabilities from ICE detention. Lily attended Yale Law School where she was a member of the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic and the Mental Health Justice Clinic. Before law school she was a paralegal in the Immigration Law Unit of the Legal Aid Society of New York City, where she helped represent people in ICE detention, and she worked in the mental health counseling center at The Door, a nonprofit organization serving New York City youth.
