Derrick Luster is an Attorney at Rights Behind Bars. Before joining RBB, Derrick’s litigation practice focused on representing survivors of childhood sexual trauma and victims of employment discrimination in California.

He graduated from the UCLA School of Law, where he earned specializations in Critical Race Studies and Public Interest Law & Policy. During law school, Derrick worked with civil rights litigators in Oakland, Los Angeles, and New York City on behalf of victims of police misconduct and racial and disability discrimination.

Derrick is licensed to practice in California and Pennsylvania.
