Thuli Katerere-Virima is our Chief Operations Officer. Thuli holds a PhD in social work from the University of Maryland, where her research focused on creating culturally responsive mental health care interventions with people in resource-limited settings. Throughout her career, Thuli has advocated for those at the intersection of mental health and criminal justice systems at the Southern Poverty Law Center in Mississippi, and as a Case Manager for the City of Alexandria, VA. Thuli enjoys spending time with her son and husband.
